101 things in 1001 days

Starting date: Monday, April 7, 2008
Ending date: Monday, January 3, 2011

The Mission: Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria: Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).

1. No chocolate for a month
2. Buy a digital system camera – DONE April 11 2008
3. Visit New York or L.A.
4. Visit the Ice Hotel in Sweden
5. Visit London or Paris
6. Weight Loss Goal – Loose 15kgs (2/15)
7. Do a monthly update for each month that I do 101 things in 1001 days on my blog (1/33)
8. Find another job
9. Working on doubling my online income each month (as of now: $150, task completed when reaching $300 for at least 3 months in a row) (In process)
10. Learn to eat 10 new meals (0/10)
11. Declutter the apartment, sell or give away old books and clothes (In process)
12. Make a recipe book for my mom (In process)
13. Read 50 books in one year (12/50 – due January 1st 2009 (easier to count) - The first 28)
14. Get a tattoo
15. Learn a new language
16. Walk the dog 30 minutes every day beyond the regular peepee walks
17. Buy a new couch
18. Go out at least one night a month for three months
19. Make at least one new friend
20. Get into a routine of waking up early everyday
21. Don’t use the laptop at all for 48 hours
22. Get a real manicure
23. Complete 5 webdesign projects (0/5)

25. Do a road trip with some friends

28. Take my degree in Forensic Psychology
29. Maintain a better oral health

31. Work on mastering my mind and embrace the present. Say goodbye to depression and low self esteem (In progress)

33. Try to eat more fruit/vegetables
34. Practice photographing children and animals
35. Keep a Swedish journal about my self-work progress (In process and considered done!)
36. Reduce the daily Paxil dosage (In progress. Started at 50mg, 25th May 2008 - down to 20mg)
37. Take a motorcycle driver license

40. Learn how to play poker
41. Visit Universeum/Experimentarium
42. Go to at least 3 big concerts
43. Re-read all my magazines and comics and then sell them or give them away

46. Take a dancing class, any dance will do
47. Learn Adobe Illustrator
48. Go kayaking at least three times (0/3)
49. Buy a bento box and use it for my lunches at work
