I thought it would be different this year. Christmas spirit – I don’t has it. I get depressed every year around this time of the year, it feels like someone is fooling me around.

I just discovered a site called 43Things. It’s like the 101 things in 1001 days project that’s so popular, but this site focuses on 43 things and you have unlimited time to achieve them. It is also made like a community, you can comment and cheer on people. 43 things is a bit easier to do than 101! So, I decided to make one! Now I have to really think about what I would like to achieve in 2009 (I’ve limited myself to one year).

But today, I’m going to list 15 things that I actually achieved this year!

• I managed to get myself a lot more organized, I moved to a smaller place and everyting was (was!) a mess.
• I started to exercise for real! Even though I’m having a pause because of a new piercing and the flu.
• I learned to swim properly without having “I’m drowning”-panic. Now I can swim like a normal person!
• I managed to overcome one more depression-period, even though I’m still fighting.
• I stopped eating sweets during weekdays, it was hard to stop, but I did it!
• I bought myself an apartment and all the furniture, without any help from anyone!
• I stretched my earlobes. I’ve always wanted to do that.
• I just finished moms recipe book, a promise since two years back.
• I got my brain and health checked.
• I learned to bake (I will never be a housewife) different types of cookies! I didn’t do a mistake once!
• I managed to finish a knitting-project!
• I went to Spain!
• I started blogging again.
• I’ve managed to say “no” more.
• I have managed to eat healthier. Not always, but more than before!

I just have to show you the other eyeshadow from Ninja Minerals I got the other day. It’s the perfect green!

Also, I’ve tried to thread my eyebrows. I never thought it would work but it did. Takes a while to learn, but it is effective!
