Marathon

I’ve been quite busy for a while now. Just started working again (only 2 hours though, but I’m slowly working my way up to full time, if it goes well), I’ve started a course in graphic design and I’m having an NCIS marathon. This is my way of being busy! ;)

Kitty Litter Facial Mask

On YouTube, I am a subscriber to Michelle Phan’s (aka RiceBunny) video channel. And today she put up her newest video tutorial; Kitty Litter Facial Mask. Yup that’s right, kitty litter. It’s not used though! But you have to admire her imagination and creativity!
Why not take some of your cat’s litter clay and improve your beauty? If you don’t have a cat, ask a friend if you can borrow some (Can I have some kitty litter please?). Buying a whole bag in a store might be a bit much, unless you are doing a full body mask that is!

Everyday Minerals

One and a half week ago I ordered a Sample Makeup Kit from Everyday Minerals and it arrived today!
I got the following…
Foundations
- Cool-Fair (Original Glo)

- Buff-Ivory (Semi-Matte)
Cheek/Blusher
- Salon Fun
Concealer
- Multi-Intensive
I’ve tried them all once and I can already say that all the foundation colors works perfectly with different areas of my facial skin! Amazing. I need a bit more time to see which one is the ultimate one for me though.
The concealer took away my blemishes right away. Score! And the blusher might be a little bit too dark/intense for my cheeks so I have to be careful with it, however I also used it as a lip color along with H&M’s transparent lip gloss and the color is perfect! So far Everyday Minerals products get 5 of 5 from me!
Monroe-piercing

I totally forgot to report about my latest needle experience. Last week I decided to pierce my lip (don’t do this yourself unless you have the experience/knowledge!). A Madonna/Monroe/Mouche piercing. I’ve always wanted to try it out, so I did! (I also had it on my 43things list!)
Late on evening I took out the gear I needed to do it, and it didn’t hurt much even though I pulled the needle through slowly (stupid me). I had it in for a day before I decided to take it out again. When I was eating something the metal plate in the back touched my front teeth (my upper lip is very flexible!), and I didn’t really liked the feeling, besides I think my jewelry would have been too small in the end as well. And if I pierced it higher up it would look stupid.
But I’m happy that I tried, I’ve always wanted a lip piercing, and now I know how it feels. Didn’t loose anything except one piercing-needle and a pair of latex-gloves. Perhaps I will go with a labret or medusa in the future, or non at all. Time will tell!
