Animal Cruelty – Skinned Alive

WARNING! – IF YOU ARE SENSITIVE – DON NOT WATCH THE VIDEOS BELOW!

RSS readers: Visit the post damnit!

I’m writing this post to spread more information about the cruelty that is done to animals, maybe you have already seen the terror, but let’s help each other to spread the message about it to the rest of the world!

Perhaps you can’t afford to donate money, but you can still help out a lot just by informing people! Do the animals a favor and share this post with the people around you. It doesn’t take much time or effort to do this! If you don’t (or if you buy fur), you are one of the bad guys!

They are skinned alive
This isn’t anything new in the animal cruelty world, but it doesn’t matter, it is still happening. Undercover investigators from Swiss Animal Protection/EAST International, took their camera with them to Chinese fur farms and discovered that many animals are still alive when the workers hang them up by their legs or tails to take their skin off. Visitors are banned to see the slaughter and there are no regulations governing fur farms in China, which means that they can do whatever they want with the animals.

The shocking truth
The following video is more scary than all horror movies I’ve seen together. If you don’t feel anything after seeing this video, you have a heart of stone. A little warning though, if you are sensitive, you should skip seeing it and just pass it on to others.

Trent Reznor – China Dog and Cat Fur Farm Investigation
Not only does he do great music and goes against the music industry, he also stands up for a good cause. This video isn’t as scary as the one above. Listen to what he has to say:

Help out!
Would you still want to wear fur? I hope not. Don’t wear fur, leather or feathers. Choose faux and pleather instead! I would really appreciate if you passed this along to everyone you know. Stumble, Propeller, Mixx and the rest!
Like I said, it doesn’t take much time or effort from your side!

If you want to do more you can visit furisdead.com to get more information. This is the second post in my animal cruelty series, you can also read: Why you shouldn’t get some types of dogs and cats.

Stormie: honesly, that doenst make any sense at all. like seriously, what if i skinned you alive? those animals can feel just as much as you can and those sick, moronic, pathentic, worthless pieces of nothing need to get that across thier heads.
Korie:WTF?! Why would you do that!?!?!?!!?!?!? would it really have killed them to shoot the animals in the head before they skinned them? thats really the least they couldve done. these people dont realize the pain they’re putting these innocent animals through! all of that is completley unnessicary.

I am typically a hardened male who eats meat, doesn’t pay attention really to a lot of peta stuff becasue they can go overboard…. I watched this video and couldn’t take it. Its almost like a lost faith in humanity. I looked at my own dog and started crying. I don’t know how I can help, I seriously want to skin those men alive and all who were waching and laughing

  3. Sandy says:

One thing about many Asian cultures, they sure don’t care about an animal suffering. In fact, they think it’s great. Now, there are some Jains, Buddhists and probably some other Asian cultures or subjects who care deeply about all suffering. But then there are those who would skin an animal alive for its fur, boil an animal alive; or tie a dog’s dislocated forelegs behind his or her back and put a can with both ends cut out over the dog’s muzzle – in the heat of the Philippines. (This link will take you to the All Creatures animal exploitation photo gallery. They add a religious element which you may or may not find important. But do look especially at pictures 26-31 of dogs in the Philippines. http://www.all-creatures.org/anex/dog.html )
In many Asian cultures, the belief is that if an animal’s “juices” (adrenaline) are pumped up shortly before he or she is killed, that the animal will taste much better, or will bring more sexual prowess to the man who eats that animal. To get these “juices” flowing in large quantities, the technique is pain – the more the better – an it should preferably last for a number of hours. I have read of a number of ways this is done – all are disgusting.
One more thing, please copy and paste the following link. http://sirius.2kat.net/dogsforfur.html
You may not be able to handle it though – it shows a live rabbit – fully skinned – being kept alive by a Chinese vendor in a market. The vendor occasionally sprays the rabbit with water to keep him or her from drying out. My guess is that this is a twofer for the vendor. He gets to keep the fur, while the customer can see just how much meat is on this rabbit and know that the rabbit is nice and tenderized. Gives the word “evil” new depths.

    • David says:

Please sandy, shut up. You’re just being stereotypical about “most” Asian cultures. Personally, I’ve been attending a Buddhist school for four years learning about religion and it’s not just “now” that Buddhists care about animal suffering. You’re lack of experience in this area has made your assumptions about Buddhists AND Asian cultures stupid and disgracing. So please woman, shut the fuck up.

  4. brad says:

these people are just fu#king cruel. if it was up to me a would just skin there arms and legs and throw them in salt. sick fuc#ing pricks. the animal are so cute.if i could i would go to china see these bastards and kill them. keep going with your cause. no to fur. by the way im not a peta rep

  5. Zane says:

i nearly started crying. i am only 12 and i care about our environment and all the animals living in it. i started crying when i saw this. how would they like it if we stood on their heads and skinned them. its because of all the mueslims that want their meat brought to them fresh and stuff.what will the governemnet want us to do next make sure women are clothed on the face aswell

  6. dave grohn says:

i am a hunter and have never saw eye to eye with radical peta people. this video proves how depraved people can be and dont think for a minute this kind of torture wasnt preformed on humans. as a hunter i obtain animals with the instant killing power of a bullet and i have never lost an animal yet. i have missed an animal but none were wounded and left to run around. there is no reason for these animals to be skinned alive as there body temprature stays quite a while in the animal after death. i just hope that people dont lump responsable hunters and trappers into this kind of sickening crime. real hunters respect the animal they use for food. beleive it or not most hunters have a spiritual connection with the animals they hunt.

  7. ariel says:

i’m not sure how to take this i have seen this video before and i almost puked the first time i watched it.It’s so horrible to see that people don’t care and think they can do what ever they want, but the thing is they can do what ever they want there are no laws against stuff like this, what are we sub post to do?i am only 17, i cant just get up and fly around the world and nicely ask people to stop torturing animals they will laugh at me we need more people to get involved.

    • dave grohn says:

i think the only thing we can do is start boycotting anything from countrys that have this practice. in china they have very little regard for human life never mind animals. one example is there one child policy which is nothing better than a malthusian eugenics program, also the mobile exicution vans they have randomly abducting people off the street to be stripped for body parts. one must wonder if they have that lack of respect for human life they deffinatly have no regard for animal life. this video is there to widen peoples eyes about the crap that goes on there. we need to pay attention to alot of other products that come from there like kids toys that had lead in the paint, melmine in baby formula and electronic gadgets that were catching on fire ect. too many buisnesses world wide sent there manufacturing there because of the cheap labour and turned china into an economic machine that is now front and center as an economic super power. this is a bad idea and we should try and buy local as much as we can to put these kinds of sick people out of buisness. even if we didnt ever succeed to do it we can atleast say we arent the ones supporting it. morals and ethics are the top standards that must be set in agraculture where livestock and harvesting animals is being done. an animal being skinned alive is the outgrowth of depravity and there needs to be an international regulatory body investegating crimes like this and holding those who do it responsable.

  8. Jenn and Abigail says:

My friend and I just finished watching these videos, 13 by the way. We are thoroughly disgusted with the way those kind of people treat poor animals such as these. This was My first time watching and i cried. I couldn’t even bear to watch the last half of the first video. It was something that would be found in a nightmare. I had no idea that these animals were being skinned alive, and to leave the animal like that for god’s sake! to laugh at the desperate soul of the innocent creature. I terribly regret having a rabbit fur hat from L.L Bean in my closet. And the way these people treat their women is just as putrifying. I used to look up to china as a place filled with culture and beauty, obviously i was mistaken. There is always a dark side to everything we may deem to be pure and beautiful.

    • dave grohn says:

everything about this video flys in the face of political correctness. im not going to suggest we hold the asian race accountable for this, just there actions. china is a brutal place and this is something they never teach you in school. there environmental record is the worst for polution in this world asside from india. im not a tree hugger by any means but i have a problem when china can polute the way they do and greenpeace isnt saying anything about it. if a greenpeace boat was to go over there they would likely get shot out of the water. to say the least when i watched this video i nearly puked (im lucky to have a strong stomach) but i also couldnt sleep ether after that and i still have a hard time bringing myself to even talk to a chinese person again. this has left me with a bad temper toward them even though i shouldnt make sweeping generalizations about them. im sure china isnt the only country doing these things. there are humane ways of killing these animals such as what a vet uses to put them to sleep to a 22 caliber bullet to the head ect. if they dont have the decency to make the death quick and painless as possable they should be skinned alive too while they scream in agony and people are laughing at them. tit for tat. i am a hunter and a former trapper but still do trapping for pest control on occasion. i had to take a course to get a comercial trapping licsence. i even learned how to tan animal hides the indian way. there are strict legal protocols about how this practice is conducted from the traps you use to the way the animal remains are used. we got inspected by alberta fish and wildlife officers regularly. if guys were caught doing something stupid like these idiots in china they would be thrown in jail for animal cruelty. it has never happened here because we have values unlike some people in this world. hunting and trapping can be very nessesary and an important thing to do. i do it for survival practices as well incase the world goes to hell and there are no longer any grocery stores. i can teach alot about survival to anyone who wishes to learn it.

  9. Ruth says:

What can individuals do to help? This is not right and these people are not right-how can these actually be human beings does not make sense to me. Everyone that sees this needs to tough it up and take the time to watch it and remember it and pass it along or whats the point.

    • dave grohn says:

personaly after seeing this video i know i would never forget it. it was hard to get it out of my mind for atleast a week. i remember how sick i felt after seeing a guy i was working with cut his fingers off in a delta portable thickness plainer he was fixing. it grabbed ahold of his hand and shredded his fingers to hamburger and sprayed it all over his work bench. surprizingly he didnt scream or cry, he just stood there looking confused like “what the hell??!!”. everybody else seemed to suffer worse than he did according to him. that was very bizzare but truth is stranger than fiction. you are right people do have to suck it up and watch this. this is an information war and the more people that realize this is happening the better of a chance we have of collectively doing something about it. its just like watching the movie blood diamond with leonardo decaprio. it was a good movie.

  10. CINDY, dogsRbetter says:

it just figures-right? You have removed all opposition messages so have made it appear that all agree with PETAs agenda-but we don’t. The ultimate aim, including no rights to keep our companion animals-will not be tolerated in the US of A. We are just as fanatical as you are-maybe more.

    • dave grohn says:

i think you have misunderstood me. one thing i can tell you right now is i am not a PETA person nor do i support there agenda. like everybody else “that can be reasoned with” i understand the difference between right and wrong. i am a hunter and theres no way i could ever be a member of peta. peta is a left wing radical extremeist group just like greenpeace and feminists. they are brainwashed into those cults paving the roadway to hell with good intentions. the last thing we need is more ignorant people finding ways to divide people on sirious issues “like whats in this video” when to do something to stop this from happening requires us to stand together. i love pets and i also think that human companionship with animals is important for many practical and social reasons like seeing eye dogs, police dogs, rescue dogs, trained birds of prey, even a cuddly cat (hell…i had tarantulas and a red tail boa constrictor for pets) not to mention that animals can provide a type of loyalty and companionship that no human can. i refuse to sit of the fence about animals being abused such as being skinned alive. if you want an animal for food or what ever atleast kill the damn thing first so it cant suffer. i hope that explains my disposition better to you.

  11. Sean Tyler says:

Unbelievable that people could be so cruel, especially knowing what they’re doing. I couldn’t watch all the way. I consider it extreme the way they seem to have no conscience about the animals.

    • dave grohn says:

i am not surprized by what they do in china because there human rights track record is equaly as bad. this happens also in alot of 3rd world countrys too. even though nature is a brutal world in the animal kingdom, when animals enter the human world we would live up to a better standard and atleast end the lives of these animals with dignity.

  12. Chelsea says:

These ‘people’ are absolutely disgusting. I cannot believe they have it in them to let those poor animals suffer like that. If you ask me, they deserve the exact same treatment and everything coming to them. Like Korie said about ‘WOULD it have killed them to shoot the animals first?’ It is wrong to kill animals for their fur, no question about it, but that is just completely cruel, evil and inhumane. I hope all involved rott in hell and anyone who agrees with what they do should be locked up! People disgust me and I am ashamed to be part of the same species after watching that video.

  13. dave grohn says:

death of any kind is hard for humans to accept expecialy when it is being done so intentionaly brutaly for no reason. if these animals were being gassed to death first (ie, put to sleep with H2S)this would be more acceptable and more humane before they began to process the animal. people kill people in just as disgusting ways and china has proven to be one of the worst violators of human rights. the best way to boycott this is to spread this video viraly to everybody you can and get them to do the same but dont stop there, you also want to e-mail information about all the other hazardous dangerous products that come from china as well. get people real angry because our markets world wide are flooded with junk from china. not to mention all our manufacturing jobs went to there for there cheap slave labour.

  14. Jelena Vidovic says:

Holy Crap i saw like not even 30 seconds of this video and oh god these people have no right to do this to poor helpless animals im soo against this the animals are still alive and they have the nerve to skin them I think those sick mined people belong in a mental instute they are disgusting and have to have to have no contact to animals ANYMORE the innocent animals desvere much better than what some horrible insane people treat them And why do they do this for f***ing snobs what egotistical jerks

    • John says:

You are right people these days are insane espically to poor inocent animals

      • dave grohn says:

we must become the future we want to see. if we have decided we will not tollorate such barbaric treatment of animals such as this we need to act strategicly. we need to act in such a way that discourages such abuse from these types of buisnesses. i am not against hunting, fishing or the fur trade as a matter of fact i am a hunter and trapper myself plus i teach wilderness survival but i practice and teach responsability with this stuff. needless to say i dont take well to the radicalization of the animal rights groups as they dont prove to help the situation but instead turn it into a side show just to get publicity. the only way to deal with this is to not buy anything made in china if you can help it and spread this video to get the word out that this is going on.

    • dave grohn says:

i understand your anger and disgust over what you saw. the best thing you can do is research your facts about anything you buy particularly where it comes from and weather or not that manufacturer is worth supporting. just keep in mind that joining PETA and other radicalized groups isnt the answer, you have to fight back by showing this video to everyone you can and avoid buying things made in china or other countrys that do things like this. that is the most effective thing you can do. i wouldnt even purchase anything from local stores who buy merchandise made in china by thugs like this. thats a good way to show your resentment to this practice. the other thing you must remember is not to unfairly judge “all trappers, hunters, fishermen, ect” because you will find that 99.9% of these guys are responsable with what they do and would never skin an animal alive or torture it to death.

  15. David says:

Jelena is right they do this for stupid self minded jerks

  16. JohnCrossley says:

Yeh,I watched these sick videos years ago and like any normal human being I thru up. The barbarity of the Chinese people is beyond belief. But in saying that I talked to a Chinese customer who took her Australian born daughter back to China for a holiday. She had to cut it short because her daughter, after visiting a Chinese market, was so sickened by what she saw she wanted to leave immediatly. Its plain and simple, you are a product of your environment, China’s culture is just cruel to both humans, animals and the environment. Unfortunately my reactions to watching the videos is that if I see a castastrophie happen in China, like the recent earthquakes, I’m happy to see the death toll go through the roof, the less of the bastards the better. Donate to their relief fund, NOT A CHANCE IN HELL.

    • dave grohn says:

something tells me that they have bein conditioned that way, deliberately desencitized for military perposes so they could justify the carnage of war and opression. after all they do live in a new world order like police state. perhaps they think we are weak because we have values.

  17. JohnCrossley says:

I’m Australian and I’m pretty outspoken when it comes to cruelty. I’ve often made comments to Chinese in shops all over the world when I see suspect items that have obviously come from animal fur. They just look at you with a blank expression. You might as well be from another planet as having feelings for another creature is that alien to them. Dave Grohn is right, shut these mothers down, dont go to their stores. China is so relient on the rest of the world to buy their slave labour produced products that a couple of years of no trade would just kill them off,(litterally) By the way I have’nt noticed any asians making comments on this forum!!!

    • dave grohn says:

i know how hard it is to find anything made local today and everything has to come from china or some 3d world country. every store is filled with chinese junk that would make you wonder how it made it into the country. i know i have bein heavily critisizing the chinese alot even before seeing this video, not because i hate them because i dont but i hate what they do. i am extreemly disgusted and bitter toward them over there practices and the world isnt holding them accountable for it. the reason why is because the U.S is in major debt to them so they keep there mouth shut and the U.S controls the U.N. international trade with the chinese is always going to be a problem because of this. so its realy in the hands of the consumer and buisness to make a descision on dealing with this. i doubt you would ever see a chinese person respond on this forum as it sends a very unwelcoming message.

  18. Sumalia says:

Unfortunately guys it’s not only China. You all should watch the movie “Earthlings”
    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0358456/

You can find it online just research with google

    Also check this
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rRWLTGSNvg

    • dave grohn says:

i agree with you on that point, as a matter of fact i did mention that in previous letters. regardless of where this is happening who ever is doing it should be held accountable for it. china is an easy place to pick on because of the fact they are the worlds leading exporter of junk and if they want to be seen on the world stage as a worthwhile exporter of goods they need to change there behavior on how they go about it piriod. there is no excuse for this so i will make an example of them. if any other countrys are caught doing this i will raze hell about them too.

  19. Sumalia says:

One simple thing everyone can do!

Just post the link to this page on your facebook, myspace, your blog or any forum you visit.I believe everyone is visiting something like this or is using twitter. For example I’m huge MMA fan and this is my sig on couple of forums

Grow some balls and watch the movie “Earthlings”(you can google it) ”

Now you may not copy paste literally what I have wrote but find a way to create interest to the links in your sig.
You can also post a ling to this great project video by Coldfinger-Free me

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7rRWLTGSNvg

I’m not a vegan as I have been vegetarian for couple of years and I do not think this is the right way of eating for us but with that said there is a difference between an animal that has been raised in a great environment that has been feed naturally and has been treated with respect and has been killed in painless way with the respect that it is becoming your food. That’s why I try to eat meat from free range animals or from animals that are raised by people I know.I actually don’t eat much meat I eat poultry and the other protein I get is from eggs, fish and milk.I don’t eat other meat as I I’m still undecided whether we are right for eating meat or we are wrong.I’m still confused and I believe that until I kill an animal myself(of course with all respect in the world to the animal) and see how I feel I wouldn’t know whether is it right or wrong. What thing I know is that I got ulcerative colitis and there are a lot of articles in the web saying it is happening mostly on vegetarians and people who eat a lot of grains, starches.

  20. David says:

Okay everybody. One thing I’m looking at from some people’s comments is regarding China and “Asians”. I’m Asian and I feel deeply insulted when some of you stereotyping us. I’m against animal cruelty as well but please, don’t be ignorant of your statements because your stupidity annoys me.

  21. anonymous says:

That is fucking sick, i have a very strong stomach but that was enough to make me feel sick. The sick cunts that did this should all be shot, it’s fucking disgusting, “but hey as long as we’re making a profit” they think, well when everyone’s seen this we’ll see about that.

  22. dave grohn says:

i cant help but notice that there are some comments suggesting this topic turn into a racial issue. thats not what this is about. but if the “so called” asian budhist out there want to reclaim any of there credability they should stop playing the race card and stop trying to change the subject of this forum to sweep this under the rug. it dosnt matter where in the world cruelty like this happens because the arguement is the same. there is no excuse for this behavior and willfull ignorance will not change it. in fact because there are those out there trying to hide behind the over played race banner suggests scapegoatism and the chinese not willing to take ownership of this. ignoring this is equaly as bad as lieing about it. you dont need to take the moral high ground to know this is wrong and something needs to be done to stop it. so who ever is calling out racism needs to cut the bullshit or go to a different forum. this is about animal cruelty in china and related irresponsable buisness practices of theres that need to be stopped, its not a vanity fair.
