Annoying things in life
I was just thinking about small annoying things in life. And what comes up in my mind is this:
I hate that the toilet seat is always so freezing cold. If I need to go in the middle of the night, I always repeat to myself “Don’t wake up, don’t wake up!”, I don’t even put the lights on, but as soon as I’ve landed on the seat, I’m wide awake. It’s the same thing in the morning, sure I could use the extra help to wake up sometimes but is freaking annoying.
I guess there are fluffy toilet seat covers out there but they must be really insanitary. Wood or soft plastic wouldn’t do the trick either I guess. So where on earht are the god damn pre-heated toilet seats?!
Cold toilet seats are good for waking me up in the morning, as painful as it is :/ I’m pretty sure they have heated toilet seats in Japan, seeing how they have the craziest things there anyways.
Jag kan ju teckna vad än jag vill ha sagt, men jag måste ibland bokstavera mig igenom ett ord, och grammatiken har jag inte riktigt fått kläm på än, är ju helt olik vår grammatik. Har dock jättesvårt att se vad folk tecknar när de gör det fort, men så är det väl alltid när man lär sig ett nytt språk, så det kommer =)
Jag kan ge dig en lapp med det svenska handalfabetet om du vill, jag har 3-4 st redan, behöver inte riktigt alla ;)
Är det något du undrar över hur man tecknar det så fråga bara så ska vi se om jag kan det, annars frågar jag Vega och återkommer till dig!
Preheated toilet seats would definitely be awesome.
Looking at the picture you posted scares me, having real pins all over the toilet seat would hurt. A lot :(
Cold toilet seats don’t really bother me; after the initial shock my butt warms them up pretty fast ;)
I haven’t been noticing a cold seat lately, though. I think the toilet seat lid cover might be warming it, or at least keeping the heat trapped inside or something :P
Ugh, I HATE warm toilet seats, it gives me the horrible feeling that someone’s just sat there… ew. I’d much rather a cold one, even if it does wake me up a little.

By the way, is it me or the image that you’ve shown is having thumbtacks on the toilet seat, or it’s just a decoration? .__.” (That would be scary if they’re thumbtacks.. butt hurts)
Heated toilet seats would be pretty awesome, and yes, Mimi is right, they do have them in Japan. :P
Get one of the inflated ones, they’re just as clean as normal seats and have a nice cushion that doesn’t get as cold as the normal seats.
Not the ‘perfect’ solution but a little warmer is better than ice cold.
I’m glad that there’s a plastic toilet seat on the toilet in my apartment. The porcelain ones gets really cold, but the plastic ones doesn’t. No frozen buzz for me.
Ewww fluffy toilet seats! My grandma has this cloth cover over her seat and I cringe everytime I look at it because it’s so unsanitary so I never use that washroom in her house. I guess it’s there because it DOES get cold at night in the winter and she lives alone so its okay. =P
Wooden seats are the go, they look OK and the wood has a naturally warm feel.
The great feature of the heated toilet seat is how it feels on a chilly night. But the impact of no toilet paper for the environment is great.
