The puppy (no, he’s 2 years old) knows how to make it comfortable before a nap!

It feels great

I have to admit that I for the first time, in a veeery long time, feel really great! I’ve been hanging out with friends quite a lot. Before I only used to see them every three months or so. I’ve been taking care of myself, work and my home just like I want to, and, I haven’t felt lite crap for some time. I still have that annoying sound in my head from time to time, but I have been training to just relax and try to forget it.

The only thing I can really can complain about is that I haven’t exercised as much as I wished and my eating habits could be better. But I have ordered two new bathing suits that I hope will arrive next week so I can start swimming again. I did quit my gym/swimming-membership a month a go, but now I don’t have to push myself to go there so I can get value for my money. I won’t loose much by paying for each time instead.

But yeah, I’m working on it so it feels good!

When the night has come

By Malin, July 22, 2009 00:14

I’ve been having trouble sleeping the past week. I’m extremely tired all the time, and I’ve had severe headache all day long, everyday, for a week. The anxiety is building up inside me as well. Feels like my head is about to explode…

So when I can’t sleep I do all these things I didn’t have the energy to do during the day, such as do the dishes. Tonight I found a brand new headset (yay!) in a box filled with crap and then I washed all my makeup brushes (about time).

Right now I’m going to watch 5 Centimeters Per Second (see the trailer below). Anyone seen it?

Another trip to Copenhagen

By Malin, July 19, 2009 22:38

Yesterday Maia and I did another trip to Copenhagen!
This time our purpose was to go to the Danish National Museum that we missed the last time. I think we walked in there for like three hours, it was huge! I really enjoyed the exhibition of Egyptian amulets.

Before we went to the museum we ordered food at McDonalds at Copenhagen station, and let me tell you this – it was the most nasty McDonalds food I have ever eaten. The fries were extremely dry (my guess – a couple of days old) and Maia’s burger were cold and looked very nasty. We didn’t notice until after we ordered that the whole place was extremely disgusting. A total waste. So a tip if you are going to Copenhagen, don’t eat at McDonald’s when you are at the Copenhagen train station!

After the museum we went to the restaurant we ate at last time, Mama Rosa. It was delicious (and expensive) this time as well. Overall it was a really nice day! I had fun!

The last goodbye

By Malin, July 10, 2009 22:31

The funeral went fine today. I could hold back the tears burning in my eyes while I was counting squares on the floor while the priest held the speach.

And why the hell is it that I’m always placed in the front row where the coffin is? I don’t like it.

I have to complain about the cantor though. That person couldn’t play beautiful. Even my dad commented on it!

Now I hope I don’t have to go to more funerals in a very very long time.

Ballerina in a Death’s Head

Ballerina in a Death's HeadBallerina in a Death's Head copy

I just bought a new frame at Ikea that i thought would fit well with my own copy of Salvador Dali’s painting called Ballerina in a Death’s Head from 1939.

I did this copy as an assignment in school when I was around 14-15 years old. I can’t say that I’m very talented in drawing or painting but I think this one turned out really good (it was a lot of hard work!). I won a prize for it too!

I think it would fit perfectly on the wall in my living room!
