Okay, listen carefully!
If you have installed “Subscribe To Comments” plugin for Wordpress or something similar, do not set the “Notify me of follow up comments via e-mail”-box checked by default! I repeat, do not set it as checked by default!
It’s fucking annoying to get notifications about something that I don’t want! If you have it checked on your site, people will run off and never come back.
You can also see it that I didn’t read carefully but that’s not the point! It’s an ugly trick!

I kid! I used to visit a blog all the time that had that same plugin installed. God, it was annoying. Never replied to any of her posts ever again.

But anyway, I agree, of course. Sighs. It actually surprised me that there’s an option for the owner not to check it by default (I’ve just installed the plugin about 2 weeks ago) when I receive sooo many things in my inbox. Sighs.

Agreed. I mean, I can always delete the emails…but it’s a hassle, and I’m lazy. :P

You know, I have that plugin on my site and I choose to have automatic subscriptions. I hardly think that makes me a “fucking moron.” If anything, we should be referring to you as such because, as you have stated, you refuse to read and take a nanosecond to uncheck the subscription box. That’s a pretty petty reason to quit visiting a site.
So before you proclaim yourselves Queens of Teh Internet, why don’t you fix your own idiosyncrasies such as that horrid PayPerPost shit?

I don’t like mails everytime a comment added. This is really annoying, but i must use this to approve unwanted comments.
