The heart matters

Lately I have been thinking about my family medical history. It’s quite scary that my grandfather died when my father was only two years old. It was the heart that caused it.
He got what they call atrial fibrillation which means that the heart beats so fast it can only quiver and not pump around the blood, which can lead to strokes.
This puts my father in a higher risk of getting the same. But since the science have advanced so much in so many years, it is easier to detect it in time. Check out the video to learn some more!

Yes. In previous years when people died of ‘heart attack’ it was called just that…now with advances in science we can learn that those simple ‘heart attacks’ were actually certain cardiac disorders and can be hereditory. My grandparents on both sides died from strokes/heart failure so I keep this in mind and try to eat a good diet. High cholesterol seems to run in my family.
