How to loose 1kg a week

How to loose 1kg a weekThat’s what I’m going to find out cause I have a plan!

As you all know I have problems with keeping the motivation to exercise regularly. But (there is a but) since I have been walking every now and then I don’t see myself as a complete beginner, therefore I have chosen a one step higher level than the beginner in my so called ‘plan’.

What and why? The plan is to loose at least 1kg a week in four weeks, with walking. That’s right - walking. This plan hasn’t been developed by me but by the Swedish Friluftsfrämjandet (it’s like “the out-door-club/association”), and it has been published in several magazines.
I’m going to follow the plan to see if it’s true or not. I’m going to eat like I normally do, except that I’m not going to drink Coca Cola at all (darn, it’s like the most wonderful drink in the world). We all know it’s a huge trap if you want to loose weight, so water it is from now on.

The plan:

Week 1

Monday: 45 minutes walk in talking-pace.
Tuesday: Rest.
Wednesday: 60 minutes walk.
Thursday: Rest.
Friday: 60 minutes walk.
Saturday: Rest.
Sunday: 120 minutes walk.

Week 2

The same schedule as week one.

Week 3

Monday: 45 minutes walk in talking-pace.
Tuesday: 120-180 minutes walk.
Wednesday: 60 minutes walk.
Thursday: Rest.
Friday: 60 minutes walk.
Saturday: Rest.
Sunday: 120 minutes walk.

Week 4

Monday: 45 minutes walk in forest terrain.
Tuesday: 120-180 minutes walk in forest terrain.
Wednesday: 60 minutes walk in forest terrain.
Thursday: Rest.
Friday: 60 minutes walk in forest terrain.
Saturday: Rest.
Sunday: 120 minutes walk in forest terrain.

What to do week 5 and to keep the weight the story doesn’t say. But let’s just say that it’s better to try many times than not try at all.

So, it’s Monday tomorrow and I’ll start right away. I’ll have to give a report every week so you can see what happened. And for the stats, my current weight is 65kg. The goal weight will be 61kg (if you can’t do the math yourself).

Wish me luck!

It’s always so hard to deprive yourself off of your favorite things when you go on a diet. D: I’m currently going through with something similar myself. The plan sounds really good though! So, I wish you good luck in being successful with it.

Good luck!! I’ve since become “vegetarianesque” (take a course on sustainability, and you will too) so I only drink water and eat fruits and salads and sometimes I’ll have fish or maybe chicken if there isn’t anything else.

It’s healthy, and I’ve lost weight. Although, I’m not sure if I’m getting a balanced diet, and my mom thinks I no longer eat enough, but right now, I’m too busy to care.

I’m just too bad to go for a schedule though you know? I would always break it because I just can’t stand a regiment.

You know, I’ve tried a walking diet before. It’s really good for the first month, but once you start walking for too long, you get to the point where your body becomes accustomed to that type of exercise, and you have to change to something else to challenge your body. It’s annoying…but the first month is definitely worth it! Good luck!

Good luck! I think I’ve hit a plateau with my weight lost. I drink coffee and pepsi religiously. I need to cut out one of those, I think it’s gonna be coffee because I can’t live without my pepsi.
