I love gifts!
Last week a very nice surprise showed up in the mail. It was the prizes from the Izea - Postie of the month (April) award!
I so love getting gifts through the mail, I turn in to a little kid on Christmas eve every time. So yes, this is a little hint that you should send me some gifts :P
I haven’t been feeling very blogilicous lately hence the lack of posts on all of my blogs. It has been such a lovely weather for several weeks now and this year I actually can enjoy it to the fullest!
I’m still on my journey to quit Paxil. When I decided to get rid of them I was taking 50mg, and today I’m on 15mg. I’ve decreased the dose with 5mgs a week. So far so good!
In two weeks I will also do a CT scan of my brain. I was surprised when my new doctor sent me there, because no one has ever taken my illness seriously before. She didn’t think it would show anything but just wanted to exclude everything. Other doctors just wanted to give me more drugs.
Even though I have some withdrawal symptoms, like headaches, some nausea when going with the bus and what I call “brain noise”, I actually have more energy and I really feel better than ever. So I guess I’m not trying to catch up with life, it feels like I missed so many teen years when I was really sick.
So I’m just focused on enjoying life right now! :D
Awesome! I’d be excited too, if I got all that stuff in the mail! :D

Well done sweetie! I love awards, always nice to know your work gets recognised.
Hope all goes well with the scan, sounds like your new doc is right on the ball. Very often you have to see several before you get one who understands what you’re talking about and looks at things from a different perspective.

strange that i’ve came upon this blog — i’ve been thinking lately of quitting paxil, i have headaches all the time which leads to a depressed state….weight gain…just a sort of blah…blank….overcast feeling….but i’ve heard the withdrawal symptoms are vicious!
