I’m going to school!
Since it has been hell at my job the last months and my health has been affected as well, I decided to apply for some university programs a few months ago. And I’ve known the results for a couple of weeks now! I got in to one of the programs!
Unfortunately I didn’t get in to my first choice; Web programming. But the second choice isn’t bad either; Webdevelopment! I’m lucky that I even got in on any of them!
Since I didn’t want to move again, I decided to study at home. Getting the degree will take two years, and the bad part is that I won’t be seeing so many people, which I really need so I don’t become a total loner. Hopefully it will work out some how. But I’m super excited to start fresh!
Because of this I’ve been wanting to get a new computer, a mini laptop. I also want a super cute laptop bag to go with it! Perhaps I have to get a tote bag as well, I’ll probably need some books ;). Need a bag so I can get out of the apartment to study on a library or a cafe, don’t want to be more of a loner than I already am ;)
Do any of you have a mini laptop you can recommend?
First off, congrats on getting into the program even though it wasn’t your first choice! It sounds like a great program. I love the bag you posted here. Is that the one you’re wanting to get?
I’m not sure of any good mini laptops. I have a regular sized laptop and I love it. It’s a Dell XPS M1530. It’s good if you like to play games because it can keep up with them.
I love the idea of studying at libraries and cafes. It keeps you in the public and not so alone and at home which can become super lonely and then you find yourself getting cabin fever, haha.

I have the Asus A20 which i really like. The battery on the A20 lasts me around 12 hours the screen is 12″ and so beautiful.
Grattis! Vad kul att du kom in! :D Vad är det för program och vilken skola är det? Jag pluggar ju också webbdesign men bara fristående kurser. Vill dock gärna läsa ett program men då bara på distans. Låter som om det du ska plugga kan vara något för mig med! :)
Det program jag kom in på är Webbutveckling på Mittuniversitetet. Mitt förstahandsval var ju egentligen Webbprogrammering på Linnéuniversitetet, men jag kom som 27:e reserv där så jag tror inte jag kommer in även efter andra omgången.
Båda är på distans, pallar inte flytta ;)
Det känns bra att ha kommit in på ett program, att läsa strökurser tycker jag är skitjobbigt ^^.
