Lars-Christian has lost his marbles
Lars-Christian, the owner of Bloggst announced a couple of days ago that:
Am I crazy? Probably. But you didn’t misread the title at all! If enough people sign up for Bloggst within the year, I will actually change my own name to Bloggst. And no, I’m not talking about my “online name”, I am talking about my actual, real-life name. [...]
The “requirements” are pretty simple. If more than 10,000 people register and post at least one post here at Bloggst within the end of 2007, I will change my name to Bloggst.
Yes, he will change his real name to Bloggst if the forum gets more than 10,000 members. Crazy, but he is deadly serious! I would never have the guts to do something like that myself.
Go join Bloggst now anyway, it’s a really nice forum about blogging, ton’s of friendly people and tons of tips for you and your blog!

I certainly hope he can change it back if he get sick of being Mr Bloggst :) Besides that Bloggst is a great name! I bet he won’t meet anyone else with that same name - just like that.

I’m really interested to see how this will turn out, because I think it would be great if we could get enough people to join and post, to get him to even consider. I don’t really want him to change his name, because I think that’s a bit ridiculous.. But the mere thought that he would do it, is enough to try to get me to get people to join and post!

Maybe to change your own name in “infektia” is not nice, I agree, but most of all it’s not nice to have a surname like “dot net” or “dot com”.

I’m unsure who Lars-Christian is at the moment but I guess I’ve just contributed to his name change ;)
