I should be ashamed since it took me so long to do this! ;)

Anyway, Foreign Perspectives is owned by Arnold which by the way doesn’t say on the site. It’s just a little personal touch to add to the site even if it feels really simple and unnecessary.
The blog’s main subject is “News and editorial on life in the south of France, a series on how to move here and some random musings too. As seen on TV.”

Since I’m all for the visual impressions first I’m going to start complaining about it here ;)
The theme is pre-made and it looks good if you only have short sidebars, but as for your long ones it can be hard to see the text when the striped background appears (adding a background here could be nice, preferably a darker one so the links pop out more). And, as seen on the theme demo as well, the title of your website in the header, can’t be read at all since the green color is too bright.
And oh, there is a little table at the footer that makes it look odd. But I’m guessing you’re experimenting with it.

As for content, I really like your posts about France and how to move there and all concerns you might get from it. However I see that you are doing a little “Buying a house in France”-series. How do I find the other parts without going through all your posts page after page? Why not smash up a link on the sidebar with all your blog categories and make the tag cloud (the link color of the tag cloud makes all the words disappear!) a bit smaller? I think it would make the visitors stay longer and to be more satisfied if they can easily navigate through your posts without going through page by page.
