So this is my first post in the “Mutual Blog Reviews“-project.

Site: Rebitran owned by Mengu

First off is Menguzar’s blog Rebitran. I met Menguzar over at Bloggst and he seems to be a really cool guy. He is also known for the boob-rss-icon ;)

Rebitran is a blog that focuses on four things, as he writes in the about page:

1- Show that our “Modern Way Of Life” is not meant for human beings.
2- Show that an alternative life outside the system [but without being totally ‘disconnected’ from it] is possible and make suggestions about ways to achieve it.
3- Show ways of earning “money” without being in the corporate loop.
4- Create REBITRAN nodes around the world, where people can live a happy, self-sustaining life out of the corporate loop.

From those four points can be a little hard to get what it’s actually about. But if you read the whole about page you will actually get it, and it’s quite interesting.

The posts are well written and has interesting angles of things. And layout-wise there can be improvements (remember I’m so very picky!), for example, the header image doesn’t really fit in. Maybe if it just got the gray border like the rest of the column would make it better. And another thing, let the lists have dots/squares so you see when there is a new list item, everything seems to float together without them.
Another thing is more personal information, more information about you Menguzar! We all want to know who you are!

Besides the good posts there is another interesting thing. There is a rotating image at the top of the sidebar with personal pictures that changes when refreshing/change page. It’s interesting to see who actually owns the blog, since it’s not very common today. It’s a nice spice!

To round it all up, let’s just say that Rebitran is now in my RSS reader! :)
