Remember the My Favorite Jeans eyeshadow from Sephora that I got from a friend a while back? Here it is in action!
My Favorite Jeans (40) is a rich blue eyeshadow with a little metallic shimmer. As you can see from the swatches below, you get out the best of it with a primer (as always). The quality is great, way better than I expected. It’s long lasting and well pigmented, and it doesn’t crease. It was a bit hard to blend though, was even a bit hard to wash it of my index finger! (I prefer to use fingers instead of brushes when it comes to pressed eyeshadows.) But that doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a bad thing! I can really recommend it!
Products used:
- Urban Decay Primer Potion
- Sephora – My Favorite Jeans eyeshadow
- Everyday Minerals – Floating Feathers eyeshadow
- Yves Rocher – Waterproof Lash Plumping Mascara
- E.l.f. – Studio Cream Eyeliner (Black)

I decided to give myself an early Christmas present so I ordered a bunch of stuff (mostly nail polish!) from e.l.f! And since they offered a free 32pc eye shadow palette with the order, I couldn’t resist! The total price, with shipping to Sweden was £14.95 (ca 160kr). Not bad!
So be ware of many images below, because you will see:
- Nail Polish – Golden Goddess
- Nail Polish – Twinkle
- Nail Polish – Metal Madness
- Nail Polish – Royal Purple
- Nail Polish – Desert Haze
- 32pc eye shadow collection palette
- Warm Bronzer from the Studio line

And last but not least; I tried to get a good picture of my nails, but failed miserably. You can’t see the awesomeness in the last picture but I thought I could show it anyway. It’s 2 coats of Desert Haze and 1 coat of Golden Goddess, and believe me, it looks amazing! It’s my new favorite combo! It’s perfect for Christmas!
Also, take a look at a similar combo – Golden Goddess and Lilac. And here you can see Golden Goddess for itself.
(I’ve done some bad/fast photo editing in one of the images, I hope you don’t see it! :P)

I’m bored and I just cleaned out my makeup stash a bit of bad products. I do realize that I could have returned some of these and get a replacement, but I was too lazy at the time. A few of them I couldn’t return since I bought them in a store and they don’t accept refunds or replacements once they have been opened.
- Depend Eyebrow Pen – Not sure if I got a “Friday car” but this was a disaster. It was dry and even though I followed the instructions, I didn’t get it to work.
- E.l.f. Waterproof Eyeliner Pen – Dry as the desert!
- Isadora Flashy Curl Mascara – Took a few uses, then it became like a gum, then it became dry.
- Max Factor Masterpiece Glide and Define – First of all, the product I got was grey, the marking for black was very similar. The consistency was watery. Glide – yes, define – no.
- E.l.f. Blushing Bronzing and Blending Brush – Do not buy this one! A total disappointment! It’s not as nice and smooth as it looks on the product image! The bristles are stiff and scratchy. I have however found another use for it – I clean my keyboard with it! It’s excellent for that purpose!
Some of these probably worked wonders on others, but I would absolutely advise that you don’t buy the E.l.f. Blushing Bronzing and Blending Brush, it totally sucked. Only buy it if you want to clean your keyboard with it! :P
Anyone else that have experienced/discovered bad/disappointing beauty products lately?

Superb!
Varje encyclopedia kostar ca 73kr!

A while ago I saw that MichellePhan recommended The Brush Guard for keeping your makeup brushes like new, especially for keeping them in shape after you’ve washed them. They seemed really great since you can turn the brushes upside down while they are getting dry so you don’t damage the glue keeping it together.
So I created something on my own instead. I love my makeup brushes from e.l.f.’s studio line, so every time I’ve ordered new ones I kept the plastic covers!

I used a hole puncher to create many tiny holes in the plastic.

So after I’ve washed the brushes, I put on the cover and put them in a vase or a glass and let them dry! Even though I made many holes (I think I’m going to make more holes though), the air can’t circulate enough, so I only use these to get the excess water off and then let them dry without the plastic.
I realize that they are not as good as the Brush Guards, but I thought I could save the world from a little plastic and reuse them instead of throwing them away!
