Comments (6) I totally forgot to report about my latest needle experience. Last week I decided to pierce my lip (don’t do this yourself unless you have the experience/knowledge!). A Madonna/Monroe/Mouche piercing. I’ve always wanted to try it out, so I did! (I also had it on my 43things list!)
Late on evening I took out the gear I needed to do it, and it didn’t hurt much even though I pulled the needle through slowly (stupid me). I had it in for a day before I decided to take it out again. When I was eating something the metal plate in the back touched my front teeth (my upper lip is very flexible!), and I didn’t really liked the feeling, besides I think my jewelry would have been too small in the end as well. And if I pierced it higher up it would look stupid.
But I’m happy that I tried, I’ve always wanted a lip piercing, and now I know how it feels. Didn’t loose anything except one piercing-needle and a pair of latex-gloves. Perhaps I will go with a labret or medusa in the future, or non at all. Time will tell!
