Busy with Manga

I’ve been quite busy the past week, I’m reading all the manga that’s in my local library. I was thrilled to see that they had Nana! Since I loved the movies I couldn’t resist reading the manga too.
I actually didn’t like Oh My Goddess! in the begining but it kind of grew on me. And xxxHolic is my new favorite, I love the characters and the, what I consider, life lessons in it.

Movie: NANA

So I finally took the time to watch some movies from my harddrive, and tonight I saw NANA. Read what it is about below!

Based on the popular manga by Ai Yazawa, NANA follows the adventures of two girls both named Nana. While they share the same name, they couldn’t be more different. Nana “Hachi” Komatsu follows her boyfriend to Tokyo in hopes to make a new start, while Nana Osaki, who arrives in the city at the same time, is a punk rock beauty who has an ambition to make it big in the world of rock and roll. Although these two young women come from different backgrounds, they quickly become best friends to seek their happiness and dreams.

The J-pop Icon MIKA NAKASHIMA and the most desired actress AOI MIYAZAKI breath the bestselling manga into life with their fresh and expressive presence. Directed by KENTARO OTANI with the original theme song written by J-Rock charisma HYDE (L’Arc-en-Ciel).

I have to say that I really really liked this one! It’s hard to describe the feeling I got from it, but this is a movie you should see! If you’re a fan of j-rock/pop or a fan of the manga with the same name, this is definetly a movie for you! I think I will watch NANA 2 tomorrow. I hope that one is as good as the first one!

Jag måste säga att jag verkligen gillade den här filmen! Så mysig på något sätt! En film alla borde se! Om man gillar mangan med samma namn eller gillar j-rock/pop, ska man absolut se den här filmen. Imorgon ska jag se uppföljaren, NANA 2. Jag hoppas den är lika bra som den första.
