The Hannibal Lecter dog

A couple of days ago I had to trim the puppy’s nails. This little gentleman does not like this procedure at all. So I have to put on a muzzle on him so he doesn’t eat me up. The poor thing looks like Hannibal Lecter!
It took a while before all of them were done, but I managed it myself this time. Before I have always had to have another person helping me with holding him down.
Afterwards I told him he was a good boy, and of course, he got some nice treats as well. He looked pretty content and proud afterwards.

Took my beagle to the vet the other day for her yearly exam. While there, a big German shepard walked in and growled at her. I complimented Millie for not backing down.
A few minutes later we heard what sounded like an animal slowly being killed from the back of the facility. Our vet walks into our exam room, snickering to herself–it was the German shepard getting his nails trimmed!
Seems my beagle knew that big scary dog was really a big softy underneath that tough exterior all along. ;)

Aww, poor Hannibal Lecter Dog, heheh, you could make a good LOLcat (LOLdog?) out of that! :P
