This second Toilet Award goes to - Google!
You probably haven’t missed the fuzz about Google and their Page Rank penalty sweep.
Once again Google has proved that PR has little to do with blog traffic, influence or relevance. Google has become a snobbish dictator that believes they own the blogging world.
You would think that this only affected the bloggers who did paid post but this has been proven wrong. Only big blogs that has a close relationship with Google has been spared from the penalty sweep. Not good Google, not good.
So screw their PR and let’s focus on better things, like traffic and quality content. Google is now officially flushed!

I’m with ya on this one. It gave me 2/10 then 3/10 then today 0/10 overnight.
That only really helps me with earning a second income…which I sorely need.

I actually just got finished reading about this topic on another blog. I think it’s bullshit that they’ve done it, and I honestly don’t understand their logic. Oh well, I hope Google knows what their in for.

Yeah, I’m with you. Screw you google! I have a PR of 0 now. I do sponsored posts and some of those require you have a PR of at least 2. I wish PR didn’t matter. I sorely think that it should go by traffic and stuff.

I have two blogs that went to a PR of zero overnight. Google has lost all it’s credibility in my eyes. Page Rank is a joke, let’s put it six feet under!

Ooh so that’s what happened! I was wondering why my pagerank has gone down from 4 to 2 (while my website now has many more visitors, and link-backs). And I just checked my Google PR again and I found out it’s 1!!! Thanks for blogging about it, this has made a lot of things clear. It sucks though!

With all of Google’s dictatorial policies — enacted by fiat under cover of darkness — coupled with the reality of how much we’ve all come to RELY on them, I’ve become utterly convinced of their intention to conquer the earth and ultimately rule the universe. A fellow blogger at Kango recently wrote a piece on one element of their plot for world domination, and the entry you’ve posted backs up my theory.
One day soon we’ll go to Google only to get the following error message: “Closed for ‘Re-Purposing’” When that day comes, we should all be afraid. Very afraid.
Now it seems there are some stern-looking men at my door that want to have a word with me. Wait a minute! What are you doing with that weird jacket! Wait! Stop! . . . .

I just started my blog back in Aug/Sept. and just now received a PR of 1 up from a n/a I was getting. After reading this post and the comments I am guessing moving up from 1 is not going to happen any time soon.

For months, Google gave my main page a 0, and my about page a 2. I don’t understand their logic. No one links to my about page. What the heck.
But then they replaced my 0 with a 3 in the next sweep, so I have no qualms with them - for now.
