Wordpress 2.1

I just upgraded to Wordpress 2.1, so be ware of errors and such. There are probably a few plugins that won’t work with this version. And from what I just noticed the LJ-Crosspost doesn’t work.
I wonder if this version will live up to all the expectations…

I’ve downloaded WP2.1-RC1 prior to the official release of 2.1, so I knew what to expect. But it saddens me that two of the template tags I often use are now deprecated.

Oh yeah, as far as I know, LJ Crosspost doesn’t work. Read about it last week here.

Luckily, I didn’t encounter any errors when I upgraded my installation. The only time I got upset was when I installed it on localhost and found out that there have been changes in the database, hehe. ^_^

There isn’t much not to like about the over 500 bug fixes. List

There is some visual things I don’t like. The dashboard looks weird, the links has too high priority in the admin area but besides that everything look just fine. Only my crossposting plugins didn’t work but I bet they will be updated to work again.

The update did get on my nerves, but as Nan said, there are about 550 bug fixes, which is very important.
